Adrian Ssemakula Bio
Born deaf, Adrian is a young artist hailing from Buganda in Uganda. He communicates to the outer world through his gift of art that portrays creative storytelling of his African heritage and silent poetry. Adrian sees himself beyond deafness. Not just deaf but simply differently abled.

Shaihiem Small Bio
Shaihiem Small is an artist currently based in Edmonton Alberta who primarily works in the mediums of acrylic paint, graphite on paper and tattooing. Shaihiem is a graduate of Macewan's Fine Art program as of 2019 and has participated in various pop-up art shows across Edmonton and the 5 Artist 1 Love show at the Art Gallery of Alberta, twice. This artist is currently interested in the interconnectedness of the varying cultures and the diasporas that have shaped his artistic and personal growth and is creating work exploring this underlying theme.
