Jon’s Creative Art

Jonathan Gutierrez is a Filipino Canadian multidisciplinary artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. A self-taught artist, he works across traditional and digital mediums, including painting, drawing, illustration, mixed media, and abstract art. His creative journey began at the age of four, using recycled paper, pencils, and pens to express his imagination despite limited resources.

Jonathan’s distinctive style combines vibrant colours, abstract forms, and emotional storytelling, often exploring themes of identity, cultural heritage, migration, love, equality, peace, and human connection. His work reflects his experiences as a Filipino immigrant in Canada and his belief that art should inspire acceptance, respect, and understanding.

His artwork has been exhibited internationally in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asia, including exhibitions in New York, Las Vegas, Japan, Greece, Italy, and the United Kingdom. His art has also been featured in Times Square and Las Vegas digital showcases. Jonathan continues to create works that bridge traditional and digital art while sharing meaningful stories through colour, emotion, and imagination.

Low Level Studio

Low Level Studio may be new, but creator Brianna Vere has been making art—and excuses for collecting plants, sticks+rocks—since the 90s. Inspired by a desire to justify her immense collection of craft supplies, her similarly large collection of houseplants, and an obsession with hunting for thrifted vessels, Brianna gleefully congeals her passions into creatively planted artworks to decorate your favourite spaces. She also really likes sewing.

Mauricio's Garden

I create handmade botanical jewelry using real flowers, leaves, and mushrooms preserved in resin. My work is inspired by my father’s garden, my love for nature, and the idea of transforming tiny pieces of the natural world into something people can wear and keep for a long time. I also create some of my floral frames using resin and recycled plastic, giving new life to materials while keeping my pieces connected to nature. Everything is handmade by me in small batches, making each piece unique and meaningful.
