Erin is joined by Mark McHale on mandolin, Nieva Srayko on Banjo, and Victor Mala on guitar. With rich harmonies, expressive instrumentation, and arrangements that balance tradition with innovation, the band creates a sound that feels both grounded and refreshingly new. Their music moves between intimate, reflective moments and driving, high-energy grooves, always anchored by lyrics that resonate long after the last note fades. On stage, the group delivers performances that are as genuine as they are engaging, inviting audiences into Erin’s world—one shaped by vulnerability, resilience, and a quiet sense of defiance. Whether playing a small listening room or a festival stage, they offer something rare: bluegrass music that honors its roots while making space for stories that don’t always get told.

Spotlight Series: Rick St. Clair

The Carrot Spotlight Series presents Spotlight performer: Rick St. Clair – May 27

🎶 Live music starts at 7:00 pm | $20 Cover | Youth (12 & under) $10 | All Ages 🎶

The voice of Rick St. Clair resonates with the weight of a heart-worn and weathered soul. His songs reflect on life’s joys and hardships, and give voice to quiet truths. His musical sensibilities take root in the introspective lyricism of yesteryear’s folk, and the melancholic melodies of country and blues. Rick weaves a sonic tapestry of his own.

Rick has quietly honed his craft over the years, writing songs in the confines of solitude. His debut performance took place at the storied Mariposa Folk Festival on July 5th and 6th, 2025 – a milestone that marked the beginning of his outward musical journey.

On January 17th, 2026, Rick released his song Wildflowers, a deeply personal piece inspired by the physical and spiritual medicine found in wildflowers. His lyrics reflect on the harmony between land, people, and his Red River Métis identity.

When not performing or recording his music, Rick gives back to the community by hosting a concert series titled Listen Up, dedicated to fostering a space for emerging artists to perform for audiences who truly listen.

Friday Nite Live - Susan Isaac

The Carrot Friday Nite Live presents Susan Issac – January 30

🎶 Live music starts at 7:00 pm | $10 Cover | Youth (12 & under) - $5 | All Ages 🎶

Susan Isaac Folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Susan Isaac is a Manitoba-born folk singer/songwriter making music in Edmonton. A powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentaIist, Susan crafts enduring songs reflecting on themes of land, loss, home, belonging, and parenthood. While solidly situated in the folk genre characterized by her fingerstyle guitar and signature storytelling, Susan’s slow-cooked lyrics and melodies also display pop sensibilities and country leanings, with the occasional indie rock chorus thrown in for good measure! Born to folk singer Carol Isaac and a family that prioritized music, Susan wrote her first song at the age of 5, joined her first choir at the age of 7, and spent the rest of her childhood making as much music as possible with family and friends in the small community of Stonewall Mb (which she grew up outside of)—and, increasingly, Winnipeg as she got older and sought new performance opportunities. She was a participant in the inaugural year of the Young Performers Program at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. When life asserted itself, Susan chose to direct her attentions elsewhere, working in community development, travelling and eventually having two children and moving to Edmonton. Through some chance intersections, she began song-writing 2 years ago to process the death of her father, which opened the floodgates to a torrent of songs and musical aspirations as of yet unexplored. Over the last two years as a member of The Night Warblers, Susan honed her songwriting and storytelling, and is now developing her solo career.

Friday Nite Live - Rose Coloured Boys

The Carrot Friday Nite Live presents Rose Coloured Boys – November 28

🎶 Live music starts at 7:00 pm | $10 Cover | Youth (12 & under) $5 | All Ages 🎶

We are The Rose Coloured Boys the embodiment of blind optimism. We choose to see the beauty in life, no matter the challenges, always turning our eyes toward the light even when the shadows grow long. In a world of chaos and imperfection, we hold on to the belief that everything can still turn out beautifully, even if it feels distorted or flawed. Our music is a reflection of that hope a reminder that there’s always something worth cherishing, and always a reason to keep believing. We are a five piece band brought together not just by music, but by the strong bond of friendship we’ve built over time. Each of us brings our own unique style, influences, and stories, but when we come together, those differences blend into one sound that truly represents who we are.
