Susan Isaac Folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Susan Isaac is a Manitoba-born folk singer/songwriter making music in Edmonton. A powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentaIist, Susan crafts enduring songs reflecting on themes of land, loss, home, belonging, and parenthood. While solidly situated in the folk genre characterized by her fingerstyle guitar and signature storytelling, Susan’s slow-cooked lyrics and melodies also display pop sensibilities and country leanings, with the occasional indie rock chorus thrown in for good measure! Born to folk singer Carol Isaac and a family that prioritized music, Susan wrote her first song at the age of 5, joined her first choir at the age of 7, and spent the rest of her childhood making as much music as possible with family and friends in the small community of Stonewall Mb (which she grew up outside of)—and, increasingly, Winnipeg as she got older and sought new performance opportunities. She was a participant in the inaugural year of the Young Performers Program at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. When life asserted itself, Susan chose to direct her attentions elsewhere, working in community development, travelling and eventually having two children and moving to Edmonton. Through some chance intersections, she began song-writing 2 years ago to process the death of her father, which opened the floodgates to a torrent of songs and musical aspirations as of yet unexplored. Over the last two years as a member of The Night Warblers, Susan honed her songwriting and storytelling, and is now developing her solo career.

Koffi Kan Belise Ezechiel N’goran, professionally known as Koffi Kan, is an Ivorian singer, songwriter, and record producer based in Edmonton, Canada. With a foundation in church music, he began his musical journey as a self-taught pianist, later becoming a musical director and instrumentalist for local churches. Noel has collaborated with artists such as Pivoine Music, Aliza, and Tabitha Tshibula, 2moods, contributing to instrumental work and musical arrangements. As a solo artist, he writes, produces, and performs original music, often busking and playing live shows across Edmonton. His performances blend genres and languages—French, English, Pidgin, and Lingala—reflecting his multicultural roots and passion for connection through music.

Barrington Simpson is an influential keyboardist, musical director, and producer. Barrington has been recognized in the Edmonton Music Community for over 30 years. Barrington Simpson Barrington “Kray-Z-Fingaz” Simpson is an influential and talented keyboardist, musical director, and producer. His talents have taken him as far as Europe and South Korea. Born in England and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Barrington began playing the piano at the age of eight. Barrington is working with many local musicians and recording artists in different genres of music.

What’s better than a fiddle? Two fiddles, two guitars and three voices playing songs and tunes, originals and old favourites celebrating 3 seasoned musician’s eclectic musical tastes and fascinations, from Country,Bluegrass and Swing, to Celtic and Canadiana. Come sing along, tap your toes or just groan or giggle at bad jokes. Brrrs and the B have performed individually in and around Edmonton for many years and have recently formed into a trio. With Bonnie, Rod and Al taking turns on guitars, fiddles and vocals these troubadours sing original songs and old favourites, play fiddle tunes new and old and like to have a great time.

Blending traditional fiddling with bluegrass chords and Metis rhythms, Brianna Lizotte and her band have an eclectic set for audiences that include original tunes and old time favourites. Not only will listeners have their toes tapping throughout the show to upbeat melodies, but they'll also leave Brianna's performance with more knowledge about her music and the important role kitchen parties have within the Metis community. With ripping fiddle solos and traditional spoons rhythms, Brianna promise's that there is a tune for everyone to enjoy during her showcase.

We are The Rose Coloured Boys the embodiment of blind optimism. We choose to see the beauty in life, no matter the challenges, always turning our eyes toward the light even when the shadows grow long. In a world of chaos and imperfection, we hold on to the belief that everything can still turn out beautifully, even if it feels distorted or flawed. Our music is a reflection of that hope a reminder that there’s always something worth cherishing, and always a reason to keep believing. We are a five piece band brought together not just by music, but by the strong bond of friendship we’ve built over time. Each of us brings our own unique style, influences, and stories, but when we come together, those differences blend into one sound that truly represents who we are.

Clare McNaul met Blain Bovee at a Deadwood saloon on a South Dakota afternoon. They quickly discovered their shared love of singing songs and playing guitar, and joined forces almost immediately, eventually becoming a driving force behind Crazy Man Michael, a Guelph, Ontario-based Celtic-Folk inspired six-member band. Clare sang lead vocals, while Blain played lead acoustic guitar. Over the past three decades, Clare and Blain, now known as Drifting Tunes, have performed their music together, honing their signature sound—a blend of Folk, Roots, Americana, and Country—that is so inviting it envelops listeners like a warm hug. Clare’s captivating, earthy vocals weave together with Blain’s tender harmonies, setting the stage for compelling and memorable musical performances. Their sets feature cover songs by legendary singer-songwriters and musical influences like Townes Van Zandt, Nanci Griffith, Gillian Welch, and Gram Parsons, interspersed with Drifting Tunes’ original, lyric-driven songs. Set to tuneful melodies, these songs are inspired by the music they love, experiences gathered in the vast landscapes they’ve traveled through, and the people they’ve met. Their songs transform ordinary, yet timeless, relatable moments—sometimes even tragic ones—into memorable, poignant, and at times humorous slice-of-life stories. Over the past 25 years, Drifting Tunes’ tunes have drifted from one end of North America to the other, from small towns in Ontario, Canada, to the Appalachian mountains, and even to smokey cowboy saloons tucked deep in the Mojave desert of the southwest. Even after their music stops, Drifting Tunes lingers in the air.
